High Quality Products and Installation Since 1981
Canada Furnace: In terms of furnaces, our name has a lot to say don’t you think? Canada Furnace has been building our brand of high quality product recognition, the best possible installation/maintenance and overall value ranking that remains at the top of the class since 1984! We are proud of our expertise in all areas of home comfort, whether it be hot water, air quality, air conditioning or heat, but just like our name illustrates the furnace sits as the foundation of who we are and what we do.
Focussing On Customer Needs
We’ve said it numerous times in the past and we’re proud to continue to tell our clients that Canada Furnace while certainly operating as a 21st century dynamic business entity also works as a family – we always have and we always will. The family dynamic goes a long way toward keeping our focus on our customers’ needs and making sure that every service we conduct, whether operational, service related, administrative or accurate information delivery through our sales and marketing efforts is our first set of priorities. Speaking of sales, Canada Furnace considers the entire process as wholly consultative. We are not trying to force you to buy a widget (or a furnace for that matter) but rather we want to assist our client toward making a home comfort decision that fits every parameter you consider as a requirement. Budget, installation requirements, customization if necessary, warranty, long term issues…it doesn’t matter until you are satisfied that all of the concerns for your own home have been satisfactorily considered and solutions extracted.
Installation and Service Professionals
Of course, up to that point it’s all still just talk. Canada Furnace is also proud of the fact that we employ the best install and service professionals in the BC Lower Mainland – and that’s not just talk! It doesn’t end there either. At the pointy end of the stick is our office staff. Just as important as the rest of the family our administrative people have the same desire to provide quality service as the rest of the company. If you require information, they will endeavor to obtain the most accurate and up to date that can be found. If you are accessing government or corporate rebate programs or other services of that nature, Canada Furnace will take the lead and handle all of the administration, exchange of information and any other part of the maze that may arise from such programs. In other words, you don’t have to worry about any of that. At the end of the day we will take care of all the time consuming details while you enjoy the comfort provided by the warmth and effectiveness of your new furnace.
Large Selection of Products
We cover the rainbow in terms of furnace efficiencies and options as well with a number of brands and models of the state of the art high efficiency forced air furnace. Examples below start at the basic level of high efficiency and move up to variable speed motors and highest efficiency units:
We stock American Standard 92% high efficiency models with standard motor and single stage operation – American Standard 95% HF with variable speed motor and two stage operation – American Standard 97% HF with variable speed motor and modulating gas consumption – Lennox ML 193 93% HF with standard motor and single stage – Lennox 96% HF with variable speed motor and two stage – Lennox 98% HF with variable speed motor and modulating gas consumption. There are a variety of furnace levels and prices depending upon your needs and we always provide a full consultation to determine your unique homes requirements and your particular wish list.
The Best Service Team Around
All we’ve talked about up to this point is new furnace installation for the home and furnace sales. That doesn’t mean in any way that the perfectly serviceable furnace existing in your house right now needs replacing. What it may well need though is a furnace service. It’s easy to take for granted that the machine hidden down in the home’s mechanical room somewhere that anyone seldom even sees might need some TLC from time to time – take it from the professionals, it does. Canada Furnace also has the best service team around and we are also realistic about how often and to what depth home furnaces require servicing. As an example: Home A has a 4 year old high efficiency furnace that has been serviced every year since it was newly installed. Home B has a 10 year old furnace that no one has even looked at since installation. Would you like to guess which one is going to require a greater degree of servicing!? Each example will get the same quality and depth of inspection but chances are pretty good that the latter one will most likely require more work to bring it back up to acceptable operating standards. It really isn’t any different from owning an automobile, regardless of quality, cars need maintenance (strangely the more expensive ones seem to need a lot more). If you don’t change the oil on a regular basis in your car you shouldn’t be surprised one day if the engine fails…no difference with a furnace or any other regularly operating machine – “just the facts”!
Furnace Repairs: We’ll Get Your Heat Back On
While we’re on the subject of service, the next logical part of the discussion is of course the furnace problem and the attendant furnace repairs! The quality of new furnaces is very high but gas furnace problems still exist (hey, we’re back to that realization that they are man-made machines and therefore fallible from time to time). Canada Furnace receives calls on a variety of furnaces problems every single day. It could be furnace fan problems, furnace blower problems, no heat from furnace (that’s the big one when the first cold weather of the year hits). It doesn’t matter what it is, Canada Furnace has one priority and that is to get the heat back on for you as quickly and painlessly as possible, and that includes minimizing the damage to your wallet as effectively as is reasonably possible.
Heating System Maintenance
Furnace repairs and furnace repair cost (s) can be a tough subject, especially if you have no heat and it’s minus 10 outside. This brings us back to the regular servicing issue. It doesn’t matter if you have the best furnace or best heating system in the world – if you don’t maintain it, it will eventually break down! Statistically, it has been proven that the cost of regular maintenance to your heating furnace is a less costly overall course of action than waiting for it to breakdown, which it will inevitably do when it’s really cold outside! This doesn’t all necessarily mean that you need to have Canada Furnace or another professional HVAC company come out to your place all the time either. It’s a proven fact that regularly changing (or cleaning as the case may be) the furnace filter(s) contributes greatly to the extension of the home furnaces life as well as providing much cleaner in home air for you to breath on a daily basis. As the filtration system becomes more and more plugged up the furnaces blower motor(s) have to work harder to draw air into the unit, making them run hotter and ultimately having their operational life reduced considerably. Regularly changing a filter is a whole lot less expensive scenario than having to remove and install a new blower motor – or something worse! Canada Furnace isn’t just about getting there quickly though. Our vans are fully stocked to reduce any back and forth travel time and after the onsite technician accurately troubleshoots the problem a fair and accurate written quotation for the repair is provided on the spot.
Air Quality
Getting back to filtration, it should be noted that there are a wide variety of avenues available to provide you with the type of air quality (cleanliness) you believe is best for your situation. The vast majority of new high efficiency furnace installations come with fairly basic and generally adequate filtration, most frequently of the replaceable paper type element style. There are a number of quality levels available for this type of filter and depending on the air quality you desire and the frequency they are changed, a good choice can be achieved. To go further, there are a number of electronic filtration units of varying quality and cost that are attached directly to the furnace for even greater air quality control. If air quality is of concern to you, by all means contact Canada Furnace for professional advice. Again, if it’s a service issue you have or you are starting to gather information about a possible new furnace installation or in fact if you have any questions at all about in home comfort, please give our friendly and informative people a call – you will ultimately be glad you did.
Why Choose Canada Furnace?
OK, so we’ve touched a bit on new high efficiency furnaces, regular servicing and repair issues. Let us now walk through the steps which will take place when you decide that Canada Furnace will be one of your choices of vendor for furnace installation or repair in Maple Ridge, BC. We are in no way afraid of the competition either, if fact we would encourage you to obtain the quotes of at least 2 HVAC professionals before you decide and from that we’re confident that you will ultimately choose Canada Furnace – we’re not being boastful, just confident in the quality of our presentation, installation, follow up and every other detail involved with your decision.
Knowledgeable Professionals
When you call, our office will arrange a time that fits your schedule to have one of our home comfort consultants come out to your home and begin the process. It should be noted that our consultants aren’t just salesmen. Each of them has been “on the tools” for a considerable length of time and they aren’t just about theory. They’ve done service, repairs and installations of furnaces in Maple Ridge, BC many times over. So, a knowledgeable professional arrives at your home and the first thing he will do with your permission is to do a thorough walk through and inspection of the entire heating system, from the point where the natural gas enters the home, through the entire mechanical room/furnace location, all of the existing duct work and any other technical requirement he may note. At this point the discussion will begin with you as to what your needs and wants are, how that will fit into budgetary concerns, any issues with the existing system that may require upgrading to accommodate new equipment, options that may or may not enhance the system (heat pump – air conditioning – filtration – etc.) and any other preferences that may be in play. Additionally, with respect to the budget, any and all rebates or assistance programs, including the Canada Furnace unique equipment rental program will be thoroughly covered off. There will be no rush or push until YOU are completely satisfied that the choice of equipment and the dynamics of the installation make sense and are completely satisfactory to you and your family and you give us the official “go ahead” for the project.
We Show Up On Time and Don’t Waste Your Time
At that point all of the product will be ordered or pulled from stock and the Canada Furnace distribution centre staff will arrange all of the equipment for your project in a specified location within the building and all of the paperwork/special instructions will be attached. At the same time, the installation schedule will be set for the best time and a crew assigned to your project. Of course the estimated installation time will be directly influenced by the depth and complexity of the job. A simple swap out of a furnace is going to take a lot less time than a job that requires possible changes to gas lines, duct work, additional equipment like a heat pump and so on. Canada Furnace crews always show up on time (barring any sort of disaster) and then prefer not to waste any time either. They are all pro’s and conduct themselves accordingly – oh yea, they’re also friendly, knowledgeable and will answer any questions you may have with respect to the installation and the equipment. When the Furnace Rental or Buying in Langley BC is completed, they will remove and dispose of all the old equipment and every bit of packaging and trash accumulated during the install – other than your new equipment, it shouldn’t be visible that they were even there. Before they leave, a meticulous explanation and walk through of the systems operation will be conducted (how the thermostat and other devices work and anything to look for that may require further adjustment going forward.). If there are any questions or issues that arise with the functioning of the equipment, Canada Furnace will return ASAP to make sure that it is all operating perfectly and to your complete satisfaction!
Warranties On Products and Labour
Canada Furnace will also ensure that all manufacturer warranties and in house labour related guarantees are followed to the letter going forward as well. We have chosen to represent top tier manufacturers like American Standard and Lennox because they build and stand behind their high quality equipment in a fashion that complements our own standard of excellence.
We Take Pride In The Quality Of Our Work
If you’ve read this far, you deserve a congratulations and a pat on the back because statistically you are in a different kind of the “one percent” we hear about so much these days. If you’re anything like me, you’d most likely prefer to be in the other group of “one percenters”! It’s nice to know that I’ve toiled over a keyboard this long and it hasn’t been completely for naught. Yes, even those of us in the Canada Furnace marketing department take considerable pride in the quality of our work.
Provider of “In Home Comfort” Products and Services
So, we’ve talked about the path to new furnace replacement, furnace troubleshooting and servicing, high efficiency furnace repair and the importance of regular maintenance. It’s been all furnace, furnace furnace. That’s a good thing as we’ve already pointed out, otherwise we might have to consider changing our company name to something else. Having said that though, Canada Furnace is a fully integrated provider of “in home comfort” products and services. We’ll flesh it out in other blogs, but should point out now that in addition to natural gas forced air furnaces, we also market all types of hot water products from conventional heaters (tanks) to modern high technology “on demand” or “tank less” instant hot water heaters, a wide variety of air conditioning systems, heat pumps, hydronic heating systems (hot water heat/boilers) the aforementioned air filtration systems and duct cleaning service. In addition to providing the equipment, Canada Furnace has well established maintenance and service programs for every product that we sell.
When Should I Service My Furnace
If you want to avoid the rush and being put into a queue the best time is in the summer months. When the cold weather starts up in the fall, all HVAC companies who do service tend to get busy taking care of broken down furnaces. Are we starting to see a pattern here with respect to preventative maintenance? I hope so, because that’s what I’m desperately trying to get across! Alternatively, if you have a central air conditioning system, late winter or early spring is likely a better time to have that annual service dealt with. There are two other important components to the annual maintenance of your furnace that merit mention. The first involves a proper cleaning and testing of the operational side of the machinery. Dirt and dust, as they are to the vast majority of mechanical devices are also a major contributor to failure of furnace equipment and controls. To that end our service technicians take acute care to ensure that all of the equipment is properly cleaned. The second involves the inspection and critical safety aspects of that procedure. A major component of any forced air type of furnace is the heat exchanger (most of the new high efficiency furnaces have at least 2). After a length of time, cracks can occur inside the heat exchanger and this can be deadly serious. A cracked heat exchanger can allow toxic Carbon Monoxide (CO) gas to flow directly into your home. Carbon Monoxide is an odorless, tasteless emission that is deadly to humans in high enough concentrations (CO detectors are widely available and highly recommended by this writer). As the heat exchanger is a major integrated component of the furnace, it is no longer a repair issue and the furnace will require replacement. All professional HVAC technicians are directed by law to permanently shut down and tag any unit with a cracked heat exchanger as inoperable. Thankfully, because you’ve read all of the information above this, you will be well informed as to how (and who) will be the best resource to ensure the most effective and pleasant way to obtain a new furnace. Under normal circumstances a furnace with a damaged heat exchanger will be pretty old and most likely a candidate for replacement for any number of reasons anyway, notwithstanding the cost of inefficiency.
Peace of Mind
You have a furnace of a certain age, you’re not sure about its service history and you’d like some piece of mind that it will continue to operate as it should going forward. What do you do? Easy, give Canada Furnace a call and arrange to have one of our highly qualified technicians come out, inspect it comprehensively and provide you with a report indicating it’s future serviceability and advice as to what to look at going forward.
Changing Filters
You haven’t been changing or cleaning your filters on a regular basis (or not at all). Easy again. Canada Furnace can help you locate the filter location if you are not already aware and recommend what type of filter you require and the frequency you should change it out. Also, the big box stores tend to have a good variety of common furnace filters at reasonable prices.
No Cost, No Obligation Consultations and Quotes
You have decided that the old furnace in your home needs replacement for a number of reasons (e.g. it’s highly inefficient and most of your energy costs are going up the chimney instead of into the home, or it has become so old that repair dollars outweigh the cost of replacement). I think we’ve illustrated that a call to Canada Furnace to obtain a high quality, no cost, no obligation consultation/quotation will help you achieve your needs in fine fashion. Regardless of the issue, Canada Furnace is here to help!
Shopping for a new furnace for your home in Maple Ridge? Shopping for a new furnace has never been easier than it is right now!
Buying a new high efficiency forced air furnace can seem rather daunting with all the choices, options and features. Furnace replacement is actually not as complicated as it seems. And don’t be misled by what you see on-line! In Canada, only high efficiency forced air furnaces of 92% or greater are allowed. So that cheap, new furnace you see online may not necessarily be the bargain that it appears to be. Another factor in furnace efficiency for your home furnace is the type of motor that it uses. The best heating system use something called a variable speed motor while much less efficient furnaces use regular electric motors, using as much as 10% more power than their high efficiency furnace counterparts. The new high efficiency home furnaces use a Smart Motor technology requiring up to 90% less electricity. This is the future of all new furnace sales in Canada.
If furnace prices are making your decision for a new furnace installation challenging, looking for rebate qualifying equipment can help. Rebate qualifying automatically come with Smart Motor technology and are a minimum of 95% efficient.
This makes your furnace replacement choice easier. To be eligible for any rebates the Government requires the purchase of the best furnaces. The rebates help keep the best high efficiency furnace costs down. In addition to rebates, we also offer attractive financing packages such as our 0% for 24 months.
Sometimes manufacturers such as Lennox, Trane, American Standard, Carrier etc will show you product literature showing dozens of choices, confusing options showing all the various sizes, orientations and ductwork structures prompting many people to just give up or choose the cheapest option. For the best furnace for you, we eliminate the confusing barrage of information through our free in-home consults, working with you, presenting you with only the information and options that work best for your home and your budget.
So from Golden Ears Park and Rock Ridge to and from Pitt Meadows to Ruskin, Canada Furnace is really your only choice for your new furnace. Whether its an American Standard furnace or a Lennox high efficiency furnace, spend all your time shopping and comparing or just call Canada Furnace
